At Vidyala, we believe that language is the heartbeat of culture. Sikhism promotes Punjabi as our mother tongue, and we are dedicated to keeping this rich linguistic and cultural heritage alive for future generations.
Punjabi (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ), written in Gurmukhi script, is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world — with over 100 million native speakers. It holds a deeply special place in the hearts of Punjabi people across the globe, representing identity, connection, and pride.
To encourage and preserve our language, Vidyala runs a Free Punjabi School on our premises. This initiative provides an opportunity for young learners to connect with their roots while gaining the essential skills to read, write, and speak Punjabi with confidence.
